This section contains seating plans for the latest American Airlines Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 types.

For the 787-8 seat maps, the 788 dominates with 22 aircraft, whereas the 787T seat map covers a second batch of aircraft ordered by AA delivered from March 2020 onwards.  For mapping purposes, the Premium Economy and Main Cabins are broadly equal although with the second batch a new seat supplier was used for the Main Cabin.  In Business Class, the 788 has a combination of forward and rear facing seats whereas the 788T is all forward facing
