Following the grounding of the Concorde fleet in August 2000, BA rapidly converted two 70J configured Boeing 747-400 aircraft into super hi-J arrangement for use in the busy Heathrow - JFK corridor. Here, the World Traveller Plus and World Traveller seats located in zone 4 (between doors 3 and 4) were stripped out and replaced with an additional thirty-two business seats, bringing the total to 102 Club World seats.
This type lasted for approximately two years, with
the two aircraft reverting to their original 14F 70J 30W 185M
configuration around the time Concorde resumed service
