Aer Lingus normally operates a fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft on transatlantic services linking Dublin with North America. One has been assigned to Aer Lingus's UK subsidary and is expected to serve destinations in the United States from Manchester.
Of the A330-300s, there are three configurations with the first two both being very similar. The second type, with a reduced economy seat count, normally plies the longer range routes such as Dublin to the west coast USA.The third configuration 30J 275M is fitted to EI-EIK and EI-EIL, and entered service in March 2022 after being transferred to Aer Lingus from Qatar Airways.
In 2023, Aer Lingus brought two A330-200s back into service to support the company's long-haul operations
