This section is dedicated to the large fleet of Airbus A321s, the workhorse of American Airlines' short-haul network.

In addition to the A321neo (A321NX), there are currently three cabin layouts covering four A321ceo sub-types:

A321S: Legacy AA two class configuration. Conversion is underway to the A321R type. 

A321K and A321R: New "Project Oasis: harmonised configuration.  Note, both types share the same cabin layout

A321T: Trans-continental three class configuration
